Content Marketing Associate

We are seeking a Content Marketing Associate to act as a key contributor to the UPLIFT Desk content team, crafting compelling copy across a wide range of formats, including ad copy, blog posts, buying guides, product pages, landing pages, and case studies. Writing is the core of the role, and you'll also work hands-on in our content platforms to publish and build out what you create, then monitor and optimize its performance after publication. Our products and audiences vary, so you'll move between a persuasive marketing voice and a clear, informational one depending on the reader and the goal. This is a generalist role for someone who writes well, picks up new tools quickly, and is ready to contribute across a variety of marketing projects as priorities shift. This role reports into the Digital Content team.
What You'll Bring
Excellent written communication skills, strong verbal presentation abilities, and a self-motivated, disciplined work ethic
Strong writing across formats, with the range to move between marketing copy and clear, informational content
Ability to research an unfamiliar topic quickly and write about it accurately
Comfortable learning new web-based software and quickly becoming proficient with new platforms
Flexibility to wear multiple hats and take on a variety of marketing-related tasks as needs shift
Bonus Points For
A degree in marketing, journalism, English, communications, or a related field
Experience in ecommerce, direct-to-consumer, or another fast-paced content environment
Experience supporting product launches or integrated marketing campaigns
Hands-on experience with web platforms such as Contentful, BigCommerce, HubSpot, or SEMrush
Basic familiarity with GA4 or a similar analytics tool for tracking content performance
What You’ll Do
Research and write across formats, including ad copy, blog posts, web and landing page content, product copy, buying guides, and case studies, adapting your voice to each channel and audience
Edit and proofread your work to a clean, publish-ready standard
Optimize content for search, writing to SEO and content briefs and using SEMrush to guide topics and keywords
Build, publish, and update content directly in Contentful and BigCommerce
Use GA4 to track how published content performs and find ways to improve it
Manage your work and deadlines in Asana
Partner with the content, creative, and design teams so copy and visuals align
Support product launches and integrated marketing campaigns with the content they need
Incorporate stakeholder feedback and revise content to improve clarity, accuracy, and effectiveness
Support broader marketing initiatives and other content-related projects as business priorities evolve

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm, 40 hours per week
