Accounting Clerk
Job Description
The Accounting Clerk position will report directly to the Controller and offers the right candidate a unique opportunity to be directly involved in the growth and success of UPLIFT Desk, and provides significant career growth opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of ERP experience (Netsuite, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Sage, Epicor, etc)
- 1-3 years of accounting experience
- A complete or comprehensive understanding of GAAP accounting practices and procedures
- Excellent communication, time management skills, and attention to detail required
- Proficient in MS Office programs, strong excel skills
Preferred Qualifications
- An understanding of Inventory management concepts a plus
- Familiarity and experience with sales tax a plus
- Experience with Google mail, Google Chat, Google Meets, Google docs / sheets a plus
What You’ll Do
- Process invoices for inventory and non-inventory expenses
- Match invoices with appropriate purchase order(s) or manager approval
- Verify receipt of goods and services to contract/purchase order and invoice information
- Obtain appropriate approval and supporting documentation for all payable transactions
- Reconcile, accurately code, and enter all credit card receipts in accounting software
- Verify and match credit card receipts to credit card statements and online activity
- Respond to vendor inquiries and communicate with vendor regarding invoice or statement discrepancies
- Maintenance of new and existing vendors and all applicable tax forms
- Scan and file essential documentation
- Follow and maintain all necessary internal controls

- Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm, 40 hours per week
