The Brand & Strategy Marketing Director is responsible for elevating the UPLIFT Desk brand, strengthening long-term market positioning, and shaping the narrative that differentiates us in a highly competitive category. This role serves as a strategic brand architect, storyteller, and brand guardian—crafting a cohesive, high-end visual and verbal identity that resonates with both B2C and B2B customers. This leader drives brand clarity, messaging, and overall strategic direction to ensure that every touchpoint—website, advertising, merchandising, content, packaging, and sales enablement—consistently communicates who we are and why UPLIFT Desk is the leader in ergonomic workspaces.
What You'll Bring
- 8+ years of experience in brand strategy, marketing leadership, or creative direction
- Strong expertise in brand positioning, messaging, and long-term narrative development
- Proven ability to lead high-end visual and written storytelling across all major channels
- Deep understanding of customer segmentation and insights (B2C + B2B)
- Highly collaborative leadership style with excellent communication and cross-functional alignment skills
- Storytelling initiatives
- Experience in ecommerce and DTC
- Exceptional discernment of quality and a keen eye for excellence
- Strong understanding of SEO-supported content strategy
- Ability to elevate merchandising and visual brand presentation

What You’ll Do
- Establish a clear, defensible, and emotional brand narrative that differentiates UPLIFT Desk from commodity competitors
- Own and evolve the brand identity, narrative, and long-term positioning
- Establish clear, compelling messaging frameworks for both B2C and B2B audiences and funnel customers appropriately
- Approve high-impact content (images, videos, blogs, social, ads) to strengthen the brand
- Ensure consistent, high-end brand standards across website, digital assets, packaging, and advertising
- Lead storytelling and educational content that communicates the customer benefits or Uplift Desk products
- Optimize merchandising and messaging consistency across marketing channels
- Leverage customer and market insights to guide brand strategy decisions
- Partner with Sales and Product teams to ensure aligned product and promotional messaging
- Provide discernment and strategic creative oversight for campaigns, launches, and major brand initiatives
- Maintain a clear roadmap for brand evolution with unified cross-departmental branding
